I am a macroeconomist studying the social insurance and allocation of resources in relation to education, development and labour. My job market paper develops a quantitative framework evaluating the reform introducing income-contingent loans for financing college education in the US. The policy lowers the debt repayment risk due to dropping out from college or low productivity shocks, leading to higher college attainment and improvement in social welfare.
